About Us

Chamomile Care - Calm, Personalised Home Care Across Oxfordshire

Chamomile Care is a locally rooted, award-winning home care provider delivering thoughtful, person-centred support to people across Oxfordshire. Our purpose is simple: to help individuals live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes, surrounded by familiarity, dignity, and respect.

We support people in towns and villages including Abingdon, Didcot, Wallingford, Witney and Oxford, offering flexible care that gently adapts as needs change. Every person we support is different, and so is every care plan. There is no one-size-fits-all approach at Chamomile Care; instead, we take time to listen, understand routines, and build care around what matters most to each individual.

Our services include personal care, companionship, dementia support, medication support, reablement, respite care, and support for people with physical disabilities or long-term conditions. Whether someone needs a small amount of help each week or more regular support, our focus remains the same: calm, unhurried care delivered with consistency and kindness.

Chamomile Care is proud to be CQC-registered and regulated, meeting the highest standards of safety, governance and quality, and for being awarded Outstanding in Caring. We are equally proud of the people who deliver our care. We believe that exceptional care starts with feeling valued, supported and fairly paid. That is why we are an Oxford Living Wage Employer, paying above statutory minimums to reflect the true cost of living in Oxfordshire. This commitment allows us to attract and retain a highly experienced team, and stability matters deeply in home care.

Our care workers are not just trained; they are carefully selected for their empathy, professionalism and respect for others. We invest in thorough induction, ongoing training and close supervision, ensuring our team is confident, skilled and supported. Many of our staff have been with us for years, which allows strong, trusting relationships to grow between carers and the people they support.

Dementia care is a core part of our work. We understand how unsettling dementia can be, not only for the person living with it, but for families too. Our dementia support is grounded in patience, routine and reassurance. We work at the individual’s pace, supporting independence while reducing anxiety and distress wherever possible.

At Chamomile Care, we believe home should feel safe. Our approach prioritises dignity, choice and control. Care is delivered in partnership, with clients, families, health professionals and local services, to ensure support remains joined-up and responsive. Communication is clear, honest and compassionate, and families are never left feeling in the dark.

As a locally based provider, we understand our communities. We know the roads, the surgeries, the support networks and the realities of living in Oxfordshire. This local knowledge allows us to respond quickly, plan realistically and remain closely involved in the care we deliver.

Our work has been recognised through independent awards and local recognition, but the feedback that matters most comes from the people we support and their families. Trust is something we earn, quietly and consistently, through the way we show up every day.

Chamomile Care exists to make life feel a little gentler. Through thoughtful care, genuine relationships and professional standards, we support people to remain themselves, at home, for as long as possible.
