Henley House in Accrington has all the finishing touches you would expect from a warm and welcoming home. Henley House is more than just a care home – it is a home from home for the next chapter in your life.

Henley House provides a caring, supportive and enabling environment within which older people requiring short stay respite or residential care can enjoy a sense of wellbeing and companionship. Creating a sense of home and community, whilst delivering exceptional care, is very important to us.

We can provide care for individuals from 60 years onwards and Specialist Dementia service.

Highly trained, caring and compassionate Home Manager and care team
All staff members receive an induction and complete their care certificate. In addition, staff also complete training specific to their role with refreshers

Selection of beverages and snacks throughout the day
Entertainment and activities organised on a regular basis by a dedicated activity co-ordinator
External events and entertainers organised regularly
Local GP service and medication management
Laundry service and daily housekeeping
Health and Wellbeing

Where possible all residents retain their own GP for continuity of care. The district nursing service attend when required and there are over 75's nursing services who visit on a regular basis. We also work closely with the integrated therapy team involving physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dieticians and speech and language therapists to maximise health potential.
