Purpose-built on the foundations of a country farm complex, within a beautiful 300-acre countryside estate, this quintessentially British care home blends state-of-the-art facilities and stimulating environments with a homely atmosphere and family approach to person-centred care.

Residents enjoy beautiful farmland views from their luxury bedrooms equipped with ensuite facilities. Spacious and bright communal areas; high-ceiling lounges and dining rooms, glazed walkways, a dedicated activities room, onsite hair salon and family room, are designed and decorated with residents in mind.

A landscaped garden, quaint summer house, tranquil flower courtyard with water feature and a raised herb garden tended to by the residents’ gardening club, provide outdoor spaces for residents and their loved ones to enjoy. Oak Lodge even cultivates honey from its own beehives.

Activities are tailored towards the individual, supported by life story work, this includes one-to-one activities and activities tailored for residents who are less mobile and able.

Oak Lodge has partnered with Famileo to create personalised newsletters for residents, so residents and their loved ones can share messages, happy memories, photos, and updates from their day-to-day life.

Awards
  • Forest Care are a multi award-winning, family-owned, and managed group of four purpose-built private residential nursing homes in beautiful Surrey and Hampshire countryside locations. “We are delighted and extremely proud to receive the award of “Top 20 Small Care Home Group 2022” from carehome.co.uk. It is testament to the continuous hard work and dedication of all our management and staff who work tirelessly and selflessly in striving to deliver the highest standards of care to our residents, and it is all the more satisfying to see that reflected and appreciated by our residents and their families who very kindly take the time to submit their reviews. A big “thank you” to everyone across our group of homes for all they do.” Mark Vickery, Director at Forest Care.
  • Maintained ‘Outstanding’ CQC rating since 2019! Ying Wiseman – Ancillary Employee of the Year, Winner, and Finalists for Nursing Home of the Year and Volunteer of the Year (Eileen Galvin) – Hampshire Care Awards 2023 Runner-up for South Care Home of the Year and Best Outdoor Environment – Caring UK Awards 2021 Jacqui Vickery - Care Champion, Finalist – National Care Awards 2021 Grace Adan - Care Home Manager of the Year, Winner – National Care Awards 2019 Finalists for Care Home of the Year and Management Team of the Year – Caring UK Awards 2019 An ‘Outstanding’ CQC rating is a fantastic achievement, approximately only 500 homes nationally (out of 15,000) currently achieve this. Plus, more than 50% of homes fail to maintain an ‘Outstanding’ rating, which puts Oak Lodge in the top 1% of homes in the country. National Care Award judges commented; “Grace Adan takes as much care of her staff as she does her residents, we were wowed by Grace’s passion, humility, and warmth. Not only is Grace an ambassador for best practice in her care home, but for the industry at large. After 18 years of service, Grace wins this national award for her outstanding home”.
