About Us
Culverhayes Nursing Home was originally Culverhayes School. It occupies a prime position at the highest point of Lymore Avenue, with spacious grounds and stunning views of Bath. It is located in the Twerton area of Bath, which can accommodate 65 residents - it has a 'Good' rating from the CQC. Care can be provided for those with dementia and mental health needs.
The home has three separate wings dedicated to care and support to meet the varying types and levels of need of the people living in the home.
The Culver and Lymore Wings are environments for mental disorder and/or dementia. The Hayes Wing is designed primarily for dementia care for those in the middle to late stages of dementia, who might require extra support.
The home has been decorated to enable stimulation and orientation and the grounds contain safe and secure areas enabling Residents to move freely. Residents have the convenience of a local corner shop, which is frequently visited for everyday items. The adjacent playing grounds also contribute to the real community atmosphere surrounding Culverhayes.
Long or short-term care, respite, convalescence, and placement care is offered to those that need specialist care, and palliative care can also be provided.
