About Us

Mulholland Care Ltd: Professional Home Care with a Family Touch

Mulholland Care Ltd is a trusted, family-run domiciliary care provider deeply rooted in the North Devon community. Established in 2009 by Koren Turner, the agency has spent over 17 years evolving from a small local provider into a dedicated team of professionals committed to helping individuals remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes.

Our Mission and Values
At the heart of Mulholland Care is a simple philosophy: treating our service users with the same respect and dignity we would show our own family. We specialize in person-centered care that empowers adults (18+) and older people (65+)—including those living with dementia or learning disabilities—to live fulfilled lives.

Our services are built upon the five key CQC standards:

Safe: Rigorous recruitment, DBS checks, and continuous training in safeguarding and medication management.

Effective: Care delivered by staff trained to national standards, including the Care Certificate and QCF/Diploma levels.

Caring: An empathetic approach led by a management team with decades of experience.

Responsive: "Living" care plans that adapt immediately to your changing health needs.

Well-Led: A transparent, accountable structure that prioritizes regular audits and open communication.

Tailored Support Services

We provide high-quality assistance designed around your unique needs and aspirations. Our core services include:

Personal Care: Dignified support with daily routines.

Medication Management: Ensuring safety and health protocols are met.

Nutritional Support: Assistance with meal preparation.

Re-ablement: Focusing on maintaining independence and community connections.

The "Settling In" Promise
We understand that choosing a care provider is a significant decision based on trust. To ensure you are completely satisfied, we conduct a 30-Day Joint Review. At the end of your first month, we sit down with you and your family to refine your care plan, adjust routines, and ensure you feel confident in the support you are receiving.

Community and Partnerships
Mulholland Care is proud to be an active part of the North Devon landscape. We work in close partnership with Devon County Council, the NHS, Devon Fire Brigade and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to our clients' wellbeing.

Beyond our professional services, we believe in giving back. We are long-standing sponsors of the Bideford Rugby Club and take great pride in supporting local youth as they compete on national stages.
