About Rons Place
Rons Place is a privately owned, three-generation-run care home renowned for its warm atmosphere, professional care, and personal touch. Our homes provide more than just care; they offer an additional family for our residents.

Care Quality Commission Rating
We are rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). At Rons Place, we understand that choosing a care home is a significant and sensitive decision. We cater for self-funding residents, those supported by the Local Authority (with or without top-up), and NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC), ensuring a range of financial options to suit differing circumstances.

Person-Centred Care
We are proud to deliver quality, person-centred care for adults with Autism, Learning Disability and Mental Health. Our aim is to ensure that every individual’s needs are met in a way that promotes their independence, privacy, and dignity. Personal choices and decision making are respected, as far as is in the best interests of the individual.

Personalised Care Plans
All individuals have a personalised care plan to support the delivery of person-centred care. These plans are updated regularly as changes occur, ensuring the appropriate care is always provided and reflecting each individual's evolving needs and developments.

Facilities and Activities
Rons Place features a cosy lounge, gardens, and terrace. Residents can join activities like bingo, outings, cinema trips, and wellbeing sessions. Protected mealtimes and flexible dining support independence and routine.

Accommodation
Each room includes modern amenities, with some rooms featuring ensuite bathrooms, WIFI, TV points, and assisted bathrooms and wet rooms for reassurance. We welcome personal furnishings, allowing residents to make their space truly their own.
Staff Training and Support
All employees are trained and educated to ensure they possess a thorough understanding and a sufficient level of competence to deliver skilled care. Such care is vital in enabling each individual to achieve their optimum state of health and wellbeing, both physically and mentally. Specialised training is tailored to meet each individual's needs.

Privacy and Confidentiality
Individuals' privacy is always respected by everyone—staff, visitors, health care professionals, and other residents. Information relating to those in our care is handled confidentially in accordance with GDPR and will never be disclosed without permission or a valid reason, such as a best interests decision. All individuals have the right to be alone or undisturbed, and to be free from public attention or intrusion into their private affairs. Special attention is given to privacy when providing personal care.
