Aronel Cottage is a family-owned and family-run nursing home situated in Bognor Regis, West Sussex. Established in 1976, Aronel Cottage has a long-standing history of providing care and support to older people and was the first care home established in Bognor Regis.

Our aim is to provide high-quality, compassionate and person-centred care in a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment where every resident feels valued, respected and at home. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, friendly and cheerful atmosphere, where residents are treated with dignity, kindness and understanding.

Aronel Cottage is registered to accommodate up to 38 residents and provides nursing and personal care for older people with a range of care needs. Registered Nurses are on duty 24 hours a day, supported by a dedicated and experienced team of care professionals who are committed to meeting residents' individual needs and promoting their health, wellbeing and independence.

Originally a small private school, the building has been modernised and developed over the years to provide comfortable accommodation and facilities. The home offers 34 single bedrooms and two twin bedrooms, many of which have been recently refurbished, with 21 rooms benefiting from en-suite facilities. Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms with familiar belongings, photographs and small items of furniture to help create a sense of familiarity and belonging.

The home benefits from a pleasant, well-maintained south-facing garden and comfortable communal areas, including a spacious lounge and dining room. These spaces provide opportunities for residents to relax, enjoy social interaction and participate in activities, while also offering quieter areas for privacy and personal time. The building enjoys plenty of natural light, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere.

Located in a quiet cul-de-sac, Aronel Cottage is conveniently situated close to Bognor Regis town centre, Hotham Park and local public transport links. We maintain strong connections with the local community, including churches, day centres, social groups and local organisations, helping residents maintain relationships and remain connected with the wider community.
