About Us

Farnworth Care Home is a 120-bedded General Nursing and General Residential care setting catering to the needs of older adults from the local and wider community. The Home is laid out across four floors;-
Burnden Residential Floor (ground floor) has 40 beds supporting people who require General Residential support and care.
Belmont Nursing Floor (first floor) has 42 General Nursing beds specialising in caring for people with a palliative care need alongside other life-limitting diagnoses.
Firwood Nursing Floor (second floor) supports 38 beds specialising in catering to the needs of people with both nursing and mild cognitive needs.
Service Floor (third floor) houses our fantastic kitchen and laundry services alongside team resting facilities.
Farnworth Care Home has a 'Good' rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and offers the following short stay services; Respite Care and Discharge to Assess.
