About Us
Elmar was founded in 1986 in Silsden,
Elmar derives from "ELIZABETH MARGARET" who was a nurse at Airedale General hospital who believed that good recovery started with care at home.
In 2019 Elmar was purchased by Tooba Zafar and at the time had 57 service users.
Forward to 2026 and Elmar now has 4 offices covering Manchester, Lancashire, Calderdale, west Yorkshire and North Yorkshire.
