About Us

Christchurch Cares delivers personalised, high-quality domiciliary care across Braintree and the surrounding areas, designed around one simple principle: care should feel human, consistent, and built around real lives — not just care packages.

Rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the service combines clinical reliability with a genuinely personal approach. Every package is shaped around the individual — their routines, preferences, culture, and what makes them feel comfortable in their own home.

Care is flexible and responsive, supporting privately funded clients, Local Authority packages, and NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC). Whether it’s short-term support after discharge, ongoing daily care, or more complex needs, the focus remains the same: delivering the right care, at the right time, by the right people.

The team supports a wide range of needs, including dementia, complex health conditions, stroke recovery, physical and sensory impairments, and palliative and end-of-life care. Alongside this, everyday support — from personal care and medication assistance to companionship, meals, and outings — is delivered in a way that feels natural, not clinical.

What sets Christchurch Cares apart is continuity and trust. Familiar faces, consistent routines, and clear communication are prioritised, so individuals and families aren’t constantly adjusting to new carers or uncertainty. Care is not just delivered — it is built as a relationship over time.
