Organisational Aims and Values - At Grangemoor Care Homes, our ethos is simple: we support people as they are, not as we expect them to be. Our approach is grounded in the CQC principles of Right Support, Right Care, Right Culture.

1. Right Support – Choice, Control and Independence
We provide person centred support that adapts to each individual, particularly those living with complex and enduring mental health needs. Wellbeing is central to our practice, supported through meaningful activity, therapeutic environments, and compassionate communication.
We maintain financial sustainability through strong governance and auditing, ensuring high quality care is delivered efficiently and responsibly.
For tenants and residents, this means:
• Personalised, flexible support built around individual goals
• Choice and control over daily routines and activities
• Promotion of independence through positive risk taking
• Homes that feel like home, not services
• Use of assistive technology where appropriate

2. Right Care – Dignity, Respect and Safety
Care is tailored to each person’s needs, history, and preferences. People feel safe, valued, and listened to. Staff identify triggers early and respond sensitively to prevent escalation.
Safeguarding concerns are recognised and reported promptly, reflecting our duty of candour and commitment to transparency. Behaviour support plans focus on understanding, not control, and restrictive practices are used only as a last resort to prevent harm.

3. Right Culture – Values, Leadership and Everyday Behaviour
A positive culture underpins safe, person centred care. Staff receive high quality training and feel confident, competent, and aligned with our values. Leaders are visible, approachable, and actively involved across sites.
We promote openness, learning, and continuous improvement. Staff are empowered to challenge poor practice and celebrate good practice, ensuring the people we support remain our highest priority.
