About Us

Sunny Bank in Tottington was opened as a registered residential care home for clients with mental health problems in January 1988.

Sunny Bank PRS (Psychiatric Rehabilitation Service) was formed in January 1991, with a view to being able to offer a fully integrated rehabilitative psychiatric Service (residential care, day care and supported living).

The aim of Sunny Bank is to provide client-centered, rehabilitative, residential provision, for 21 residents who require medium to long term care, some of whom progress on to (semi) independent living within the community.

Rehabilitative day care has also been provided at Sunny Bank and we have also provided limited residential respite care for some of our day care clients.

Sunny Bank is registered with the Care Quality Commission and received an "Outstanding" rating for the last CQC Inspection.
