About Us
Inglewood Care Home is a converted older property dating from the 1800s with substantial alterations and extensions to provide the facilities that we are able to offer today. It originally opened as a residential home in 1979 with two extensions being added over a period of time.
The home has a caring team of dedicated long-serving employees led by an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Manager and assisted by a Deputy Manager and Carers who provide professional care for our Service Users. The high standard of care provided enhances the quality of life for our Service Users.
Inglewood is positioned on the outskirts of Carlisle approximately one mile from the city centre. The home is set in private grounds with mature and level gardens, car parking is provided for up to 8 vehicles.
There are 24 standard and luxury single bedrooms. We are also able to offer a limited number of bedrooms for couples or friends who wish to share a bedroom. En-suite facilities are available.
There are garden areas to the front, side and rear of the property. These safe areas are wheelchair accessible and a lovely place to sit and enjoy visits from friends and family.
