About Us
Lanercost House is located on a modern residential housing estate on the outskirts of Carlisle, which means we have easy access to local amenities. Nearby, you can enjoy the Scottish Borders, historic Carlisle and the beautiful Lake District.
We can cater to all different types of care needs; we provide first-class 24-hour nursing care and support here at Lanercost, and our dedicated Carlyle Suite offers expert dementia care for adults who exhibit challenging behaviour. All rooms have en-suite shower facilities and are wheelchair accessible. There is a sensory room and a life skills kitchen. We have secure gardens, accessible from many bedrooms and all lounges.
We have our own physio assistant and activities coordinators, and the inspector noted ‘people were well stimulated and supported in discrete and sensitive ways by staff.'
We are always pleased to see visitors.
The CQC have rated Lanercost House as 'good' during the last inspection in 2021.
