The Homestead offers compassionate, person-centred residential and dementia care in a modern, three-storey facility, providing a welcoming environment for up to 68 residents. Situated in the quiet area of Carterton, just a short drive from Oxford, The Homestead is conveniently located near local shops and Kilkenny Lane Country Park.
The Homestead provides options for individuals and couples and ensures each resident receives a personalised care plan tailored to their evolving needs. Each resident is assigned a key worker to ensure that their care remains responsive and up-to-date. Our highly qualified care team is equipped to support a wide range of nursing needs, including specialised dementia care.
Residents enjoy a vibrant calendar of activities, events, and outings that cater to diverse interests and abilities, such as arts and crafts, baking, gardening, and themed events. Our award-winning music therapy, available in group or individual sessions, provides comfort and helps reduce feelings of isolation. The home also features its own bar, 'Carters Rest,' complete with a jukebox and piano, offering a fun, social space for residents. Additionally, a dedicated Chaplain visits regularly to offer pastoral care and companionship to residents and their loved ones, creating a comforting and inclusive atmosphere for all.
