About Us

Cymar House is a home in the Glasshoughton area of Castleford, which can accommodate 29 residents. Residential and dementia care is provided.
We at Cymar House pride ourselves on offering a high professional care service for the elderly, with a personal touch. We as a home are pleased to accept residents for long term, short term for respite, convalescence and holiday stays, we also offer day care services.
When people have worked hard throughout their lives and have been committed to helping others, we think they deserve extra cherishing. They need a home where individuality is emphasised, with staff who have time to give attention to small detail and where they have they choice of enjoying the company of like-minded fellow residents. As a home we like to promote Privacy, Dignity, Independence, Choice, Rights, Fulfilment.
We have living, recreational and dining areas for relaxing, activities and entertainment. Regular in house activities are organised to encourage the resident's stimulation. Residents are encouraged to bring personal items, subject to meeting health and safety regulations.
The company considers their management team and employees to be the key to ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality care to all its service users. The company believes that their commitment to be continued development of the management and service provided through education and training will maintain and improve the high levels of service provision already provided.
