About Us
Grevill House is a welcoming care home in Cheltenham, offering personalised nursing, residential, respite and dementia care for up to 65 people living there. Formerly operated by The Order of St John’s Trust, the home has now joined the Agincare family, ensuring this much-valued local home can continue to support people in the community.
Our home provides 24-hour a day tailored care in a home-from-home setting, which you are encouraged to personalise and make your own. Grevill House is fully equipped with everything you need and our team ensures that every detail is to your liking; helping you feel comfortable and settled as soon as you move in.
Social activities
Our residents help shape the activities we offer, from pottery and bingo to trips to the garden centre and shopping in town. This ensures every activity is meaningful and enjoyable for them. Our vibrant garden offers beautiful wildlife and a large outdoor seating area to relax and enjoy the fresh air. We hold regular movie nights in our lounge, with popcorn, a glass of wine, and a film chosen by our residents, creating a relaxed and enjoyable evening together. Many of our residents enjoy craft activities such as drawing and painting. These sessions provide a chance to be creative, relax, and spend time with fellow residents in a friendly, social setting.
Dining
At Grevill House Care Home, mealtimes are a special experience. Our team of skilled chefs create freshly prepared, home-cooked dishes designed to delight the senses. Wherever possible, ingredients are locally sourced to ensure every meal is fresh, nutritious and full of flavour.
Residents can enjoy their meals in our elegant dining rooms or our light and tranquil conservatory, where the atmosphere makes every meal feel special. For those who prefer privacy, meals can also be enjoyed in the comfort of their own room, offering a personal dining experience.
Bedrooms
We can accommodate up to 65 residents, creating a friendly, community atmosphere. Our care home offers a mix of bedrooms, some with ensuite facilities and others with a convenient washbasin. For rooms without an ensuite, accessible bathrooms are always close by. All rooms are spacious, comfortable, and designed to feel like a welcoming personal retreat.
The bedrooms are a blank canvas for you to personalise with your own photos, pictures and furniture to help you feel at home. It also helps our care team understand what’s important to you.
When you move in, our fantastic team will be there to ensure the transition is as seamless as possible. At Grevill House, our all-inclusive fee covers everything you need—towels, bedding, laundry, meals, and personalised care. All you need to bring are your personal belongings to make your space feel like home, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Gardens
Grevill House Care Home features a beautiful, spacious landscaped garden that comes alive with summer activities. Colourful planters and raised flower beds add charm, while plenty of seating areas and a summer house provide residents with comfortable spots to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
The garden is perfect for social activities, outdoor dining or simply soaking up the sun. Nature enthusiasts will love spending a sunny afternoon watching the birds nesting in our mature trees. Throughout the year, the garden offers a peaceful retreat and a chance to connect with nature in a safe, welcoming environment.
