Bramble House is situated in the charming village of Hollingwood, Chesterfield, with easy access to the vibrant Chesterfield town centre, renowned for its iconic crooked spire and bustling outdoor market. Residents benefit from excellent access to a variety of leisure facilities and shops, with a convenience store located just a four-minute walk away, providing options for everyday needs. A bus stop on the corner of the street offers regular transport to Chesterfield and Worksop, making it easy for residents to explore the surrounding area. This convenient location also ensures that family and friends can drop in for those heartwarming visits that strengthen relationships and enhance well-being. Bramble House offer a service for people over the age of 50 who have severe or enduring mental health illnesses requiring intervention which cannot be met by home care.

The staff at Bramble House are trained and experienced in the management and supervision of clients with severe mental illness, behaviour that
challenges while promoting independence and self-reliance, and well experienced in working with various community-based agencies. The team includes:
• Registered Manager
• Deputy Manager
• Team Leaders
• Support Workers
• Psychologist

Bramble House is a supportive space offering home comforts, complete with facilities for relaxation and recreation. There are 21 well-appointed bedrooms, of which offer ensuite facilities, ensuring both comfort and privacy for our residents.

There are large wet rooms with bath tubs and hoist facilities for residents with limited mobility requiring personal care. Our inviting communal lounge and dining areas serve as congenial spaces where residents can gather to share meals and meaningful moments together.

Following a referral to Bramble House, an assessment will be arranged and undertaken by the Bramble House management team. They will provide feedback on whether they feel Bramble House will be able to meet the needs of the individual. A proposal of care will then be submitted and if the individual and their care team are happy to proceed, admission and transition plans will be agreed.
