The home receives good support from key professionals and enjoys an excellent reputation for its work with individuals, particularly when placements elsewhere have not been successful.

Residents are encouraged to move around the home and to access the garden or to spend time in the lounges or dining areas, socialising or engaging with others. A full range of therapeutic activities to occupy, stimulate and create interest are offered in the home, with opportunities for some residents who are able to attend community facilities or events. Haddon House provides accommodation in 3 separate households, spanning 2 floors. Some bedrooms offer ensuite facilities and residents are welcome to bring in their own furniture and personal items to help them feel at home. The nursing home is fully accessible, with a lift, ground floor rooms and easy wheelchair access inside and out to the garden. In addition, there is wifi availability throughout the building. Visiting pets are welcome. Resident pets would be at the discretion of the management and would need to be suitable for the environment and residents living in the home at the time.
