About Us

Hazeldene House is a 21 bed residential Home for elderly and dementia care situated in the Clay Cross area of Chesterfield. Hazeldene House has a Good CQC rating

Hazeldene House has an established reputation for providing residential care for the elderly to the very highest standards in a safe and secure environment. We has been a care home for many years and offer furnished single rooms, many with en-suite facilities over two floors. The main house has been extended but has retained its original charm and character

At the heart of our philosophy of care is the Hazeldene House Quality Policy, which helps the team to achieve the high standards of care we strive to deliver. Our mission is to foster an atmosphere of support which both enables and encourages our residents to live as full, interesting and independent lifestyle as possible.

We aim to provide an attractive lifestyle for the retired elderly in good health and also for those who are too frail to care for themselves. We also have a full care package for Service User’s who have dementia.

Specialist trained staff provide compassionate care and understanding with a broad knowledge of the unique behaviour that dementia can present.

We deliver person centred care as a main priority in order to maintain a life as normal as possible, always maintaining our focus on individuals rather than the shortfalls associated with dementia. We create an environment that will ensure the best quality of life possible to help overcome the problems that may arise from dementia. We celebrate the strengths and competencies of each resident ensuring that dementia is no barrier to enjoying life.
