Feedback from residents…
The accommodation includes 43 bedrooms with ensuite facilities over two floors. The spacious, light and airy facility promotes peoples’ health and wellbeing. The communal lounges, outdoor courtyard, garden area provides plenty of opportunities for socialising and relaxing. There is also an onsite occupational rehabilitation kitchenette, residents’ laundry room and multifunction therapy rooms, to promote independence. At Willowbrook House we treat our residents with dignity and respect. Empowering them to make decisions and choices about the care they receive, while ensuring their safety and the safety of others.
We encourage our residents to make their own choices in relation to meals, activities, and outings and to take positive risks that promote their independence and sense of wellbeing and achievement. Where an individual has been assessed as lacking the capacity to make safe choices, we work with the person’s wider circle of multi-agency support to determine the least restrictive path to respect their wishes and keep them safe.
