Overview
Maple Leaf House is a comfortable, purpose-built 30 bed nursing care home in Coventry providing specialist care for adults with severe and enduring mental illness, including those with dementia.
At Maple Leaf House we support:
Continuing care for adults with complex mental and physical health needs
Dementia care including young onset dementia and advanced forms of dementia
Mild to moderate learning difficulties
Complex care needs with behaviours that challenge
Maple Leaf House also cares for people that have dual mental and physical health problems, providing the specialist care for those entitled to Section 117 aftercare, those who are on a Discharge to Assess Pathway, require a Care Programme Approach (CPA), a Community Treatment Order (CTO) or Guardianship Order under the Mental Health Act 1983. We provide sensitive and person-centred care for our residents in a carefully designed safe environment that also promotes their independence and wellbeing through features such as assisted bathrooms, wheelchair access and a lift. People with limited mobility are also able to enjoy visits to local attractions and amenities in our wheelchair-accessible vehicle. Residents are encouraged to decorate their rooms to reflect their personal style and interests and access to safe outdoor spaces and there are a range of leisure and social activities offered to keep people occupied. We recognise that regular, nutritious meals are central to people’s health and wellbeing and are proud to provide freshly prepared food, cooked on the premises, that considers our service users’ individual preferences and requirements.
