About Us
St Andrews House is a registered charity which provides care and support to older people aged 65 years and over.
St Andrews House aims to provide a caring, Christian environment which offers choice and independence, supporting our community of Residents to live a positive and fulfilling lifestyle.
Set in Earlsdon, we are close to historic landmarks such as the War Memorial and Coventry Cathedral and just a stone’s throw away from bustling Earlsdon High Street full of shops, restaurants and cafes.
On entering St Andrews House you will immediately feel the warmth and care that is at the heart of all we do. Our staff team are on hand 24 hours a day to provide quality personalised support tailored to individual needs.
We provide both long stay and shorter breaks for those seeking a break or simply as an introduction to St Andrews House.
We have 35 fully furnished en-suite bedrooms with a walk-in shower. Rooms are equipped with Wi-Fi and telephone line at no extra cost. All rooms are wheelchair accessible and have nurse call alarms as standard. All rooms can be personalised to suit each individual Residents preferences.
We have a dedicated Chapel, Hairdressing Salon, Activities room, large communal lounge, quiet room, large landscaped gardens and fully equipped accessible bathrooms in addition to en-suite shower rooms. We have 2 spacious dining rooms for those Residents who choose to dine with friends.
We have an extensive landscaped fully accessible garden with fish pond and a terraced area with retractable canopy for Residents, families and friends to enjoy. We invite the local community to summer garden parties that we hold each year, green fingered Residents are encouraged to help with the upkeep of the garden area throughout the year.
Our dedicated fully trained care team are on hand to provide tailored person-centred care 24 hours a day. Our Care Team includes Senior Carers, Care Staff, Cooks and Kitchen Assistants, Housekeepers, Laundry Staff, a full-time Activities Coordinator and dedicated maintenance staff.
Our dedicated Kitchen team prepare all meals on site daily. Menus are planned with full involvement of Residents to cater to all tastes. Special dietary requirements are catered for dependent on individual needs. Special occasions such as festive Christmas lunch, afternoon tea days are served and families and friends are invited to stay and enjoy a meal with their loved ones.
Snacks and light meals are available throughout the day. A snack fridge is available in the main lounge area for Residents to help themselves to at any time.
