About Us
Oak House is home to women over forty who are supported by an experienced and qualified all-female staff team. The people we support have a range of needs, including learning disabilities, cerebral palsy, schizophrenia, OCD, epilepsy, mobility challenges, agoraphobia, and autism.
The environment at Oak House fosters independence, involvement, and inclusion, encouraging individuals to make choices, engage in decision-making, and try new experiences. Each individual has a person-centred care plan which encourages them to pursue their goals, dreams, and lifestyle preferences.
Oak House provides a positive atmosphere, blending opportunities for skill-building, relaxation, fun, and leisure. The home features a spacious lounge, separate dining room, and kitchen with garden access, and is well-designed for wheelchair accessibility throughout.
