Welcome to South Moor Lodge Care Home, a warm and homely care home offering residential and dementia care for the elderly, located in the village of Walkeringham, on the border of Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire. Here at South Moor, we are proud to hold a 'Good' rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC), upholding the highest standards of individual, person-centred care for all our residents.

We provide both short-term and long-term residential care for the elderly and those living with dementia. We also provide respite care for elderly people to give their carers a break. Our home offers a range of personalised care services to meet the unique needs of individuals with conditions such as Parkinsonism, Dementia, Hearing and Sight Impairment and those requiring End of Life Care.

We are situated in the lovely village of Walkeringham, three miles from the town of Gainsborough and 18 miles from Doncaster. South Moor Lodge Care Home is centred around an old nineteenth century barn that has been extensively modernised. The property is situated within two acres of landscaped grounds, surrounded by stunning countryside and features a residents' pub in the rear garden.

Room options include single rooms, all with full wet room facilities allowing for privacy and convenience. All rooms feature Wi-Fi access, television points and 24-hour call facilities. All furniture and furnishings are provided, while we encourage residents to bring items to personalise their room and create a home-from-home.
