About Us
Nelson House is a home in the area of Dudley, which can accommodate for 21 residents. Care can be provided for those with dementia. Nelson House also offers the following short stay services; respite care, long term and permanent care.
Nelson House is is equipped to care for residents with many medical conditions including mental health impairment. All food at Nelson House is homemade and we cater to all different nutritional diets. We have a hairdresser who comes in each Thursday to give residents they style they choose. Podiatry will come in and tend to our residents needs when needed. Our local GP comes out every Wednesday to check on the residents of Nelson House to ensure they are well and discuss any health concerns they/we might have. Local nurses are a phone call away and will come in when needed.
Activities are completed every day with singers, dancers and regular parties. Here at Nelson House our residents are the heart of our care, we pride ourselves on ensuring all residents maintain their privacy, dignity and independence. Our residents should be made to feel they are at home with 100% person centered care. Permanent residents are offered a choice on decorating their room to suit their personality. We ensure all residents of Nelson house feel, loved safe and secure.
We are aware at the moment Nelson house is not the prettiest of homes but the care here is fantastic and will not be beaten.
