Introducing The Holt
The Holt is a small bungalow in the village of Exminster. The bungalow has been separated into 2 flats where 2 individuals reside and are provided around-the-clock care and support in their own personalised flats.
Both flats comprise of their own gardens and the home is a 10minute walk from the local village of Exminster, the area is quiet and rural with lots of beautiful walks in the vicinity, there is a local village bus that goes to the city of Exeter which has plenty of activities such as shopping, restaurants, I-Bounce and much more, Exeter city centre is about 15minute drive from the Holt.
About The Holt
The Holt is a residential home that provides 24hour support for 2 individuals supporting people with mental health, Epilepsy, Autism and learning disabilities.
We fully embrace person-centred planning, enabling the person we support to be at the centre of the delivery of our highest quality care and support.
People living at The Holt are encouraged to participate in a wide range of activities of their interest. These include arts and crafts, movie nights, Trips out in the community include visits to leisure centres, spa trips, parks and restaurants.
At a time that is right, we are able to offer a pathway to further independent living. This might include accessing one of our Supported Living or Outreach services. We strongly believe that every person we support should receive the right level of care in an environment that meets their needs wants and wishes. Please talk to us about how we can work with you to develop a transitions package.
The Team
The team is led by an experienced Manager with many years of supporting people with learning disabilities and complex needs. The staff team are committed and focused on meeting the needs of the people they support.
