Overview

Exmouth House, a part of Amica Care, a not-for-profit charitable organisation, offers high-quality residential and dementia care in a warm and welcoming environment.
Led by our very experienced Home Manager, our specialist care teams work together to ensure that our residents lead a better quality of life by receiving outstanding levels of care, stimulation and social interaction that improves both their health and overall wellbeing.
Our care is rated ‘Outstanding’ by our regulator, the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Our home is a few miles from Exeter and also features on the main bus routes, making it easily accessible. We have a large communal lounge where our residents can relax, meet family and friends, enjoy a chat or watch their favourite television programme. The Conservatory is a favourite room and we also use this for activities. In both of our dining rooms, we have restaurant-style dining offering nutritious food and we are happy to cater for individual tastes. At Exmouth House, we have a clear understanding of the importance of preparing residents’ favourite foods to encourage healthy appetites. This helps to ensure our residents eat and drink enough to ensure a healthy diet in a social and convivial atmosphere.

Our hairdressing salon is popular for holistic one-to-ones such as pampering hand massages and nail treatments as well as elegant hair-dos and hair trims, all of which can help to nurture the spirit of our residents. Our bedrooms have en-suite facilities ensuring privacy and convenience for our residents and their visitors. Our award-winning garden is very private and safe for our residents to enjoy. Attractive to birds and wildlife, there is also a sensory garden to ensure that our residents are stimulated both outside the home as well as inside.

Our home is open to showrounds so please feel free to contact us today to arrange a visit with our friendly team.
