Overview

Ferndown Manor is a CQC "Good" rated care home in Dorset that provides the latest in luxury living for older people. The team provides quality, round-the-clock, person-centred residential and nursing care, short-term respite care and specialist dementia care for people living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. We also provide sensitive palliative and end of life care.

Our luxurious home has been designed with your loved one’s comfort in mind. Each bedroom has its own en-suite facilities and is individually styled, and residents are encouraged to bring their own treasured possessions to help them settle into their new home.

We empower residents to make decisions about their care and how they spend their day, giving them maximum choice and control while ensuring they are safe and well cared for at all times. Our dedicated colleagues are passionate about making a difference in residents’ lives, and they help them to continue living fulfilling lives through our wishing tree initiative.

We pride ourselves on the transparency of our care quality and fee information - ensuring you can trust us to care from that very first step.

The Ferndown Manor team get to know each resident, including their needs, interests and tastes, tailoring their care and lifestyle plans to suit each individual. They carefully plan a wide range of group and one-to-one activities such as music sessions, outings and growing vegetables in the garden.
