Overview
Milton Lodge Rest Home is situated in a quiet residential area of Fleetwood. The home is convenient for a short stroll to the local shops, the market or to the sea front.
The Home provides long term, short term and respite care for 21 residents in a warm and friendly atmosphere, where they are treated with dignity, respect and compassion at all times.
The team use a digital care planning tool to create person centred care plans for each resident. The care plans are tailored to their individual needs and interests and take into account their social and cultural preferences.
Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms and can have a say in the décor to ensure that they feel at home. The home has two spacious lounges where residents can socialise and watch television. Residents can enjoy the fresh air and good weather in the home’s private rear garden which is furnished with garden tables and chairs. The residents and their visitors enjoy sitting there in the summer months.
A sunny decking area, which can be accessed directly from the dining room or the garden, has been added to the home. This is a popular place for the residents and their visitors to sit on warm days.
The home has a separate visiting pod in the back garden. It can be used to visit your loved ones, if required.
Great emphasis is placed on the personal independence, dignity and quality of life of each resident. Social activities are organised for residents and they are at liberty to choose to participate in these or not.
Residents can enjoy an active social life thanks to the busy activities programme. This includes crafts, quizzes, discussion groups, trips out and entertainment.
A choice of menu is available at each meal. Special diets can be catered for. Each meal is freshly prepared using only the finest ingredients.
