Overview

The Redbourne Centre is located in Redbourne; a village in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside. Redbourne is 11 miles from Scunthorpe, 20 miles from Lincoln, 25 miles from Grimsby and 27 miles from Hull. We are rated “Outstanding” by CQC and our experienced, nurse-led team works collaboratively to develop personalised care and treatment plans to deliver a holistic approach to support. We seek to maximise community integration, independence, engagement and quality of life, supporting individuals to acquire or re-acquire the skills needed to live more independently.

At the Redbourne Centre, we take pride in our diverse and experienced staff team, all led by our dedicated Registered Manager. To ensure the highest standards of care, a qualified nurse is available 24/7, supported by a Senior Support Worker. We are committed to fostering continuous professional development for our team through: Comprehensive Induction & Training: Every new team member undergoes a thorough induction, including specialized training in therapeutic approaches, such as the Positive Behaviour Support model, to equip them for their roles. Ongoing Professional Growth: We support professional advancement through regular clinical and management supervision, annual appraisals, and a focus on continuous professional development. Leadership Development: Tailored programs are available to nurture leadership skills across various staff roles, empowering individuals to take on leadership responsibilities. Quality & Governance Training: Staff receive in-depth training in quality assurance and governance, ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional care and support. Reflective Practice: We encourage a culture of personal and professional growth, where staff regularly reflect on their interactions with residents to enhance care practices. At the Redbourne Centre, we are dedicated to maintaining a team of highly skilled professionals who deliver exceptional care while fostering an environment of continuous improvement and development.

The residents living at The Redbourne Centre are supported to be as independent as they can and to continue to develop their skills and confidence. They are supported to follow their hobbies and interests as well as being encouraged to try new things. The service works with individuals to maintain or reach their personal goals, as a staff team we are able to adapt to individual preferences of need and support requirements. Residents and staff all work together to develop and agree individual plans that are tailored to their needs and wishes and we promote a very open and diverse culture, with opportunities for new experiences. The service has well established links with the local GP, Dentists and Pharmacies and has visiting physiotherapists, chiropodists, occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals by arrangement, as well as support from CareTech’s behavioural support team. The Redbourne Centre has achieved many positive outcomes and successes over the years. In addition to being rated as “Outstanding” by CQC, our residents recently won CareTech’s National Arts & Crafts competition. The Redbourne Centre won Care Home of the Year.
