Admiralty Care Home

Admiralty Care Home sits within the heart of the local community, offering easy access to nearby conveniences including local shops, a doctor’s surgery and a library. We are located just one mile from Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre which has many restaurants and shops to make a perfect day out. What’s more, Wigmore Park is just a five-minute stroll from us which is perfect for our summer picnics and entertainment.
Our home provides 24-hour tailored care in a home-from-home setting. It boasts lovely interiors, cosy rooms, spacious common areas, and intimate lounges. We are fortunate to have beautiful landscaped gardens with a summer house and seated patio area.

Social activities
There’s something to suit everyone in our social activities programme, from entertainment, exercise and flower arranging to arts and crafts, coffee mornings, cooking and much more. Treat yourself to pamper days at our on-site beauty and hair salon followed by an afternoon in one of our roomy communal lounges where you can chill out and have a good time with friends and family. Enjoy regular activities including crafts, games, raffles and trips out. Our social activities programme is put together by our Activities Coordinators who ensure there is something for everyone.

Dining
At Admiralty Care Home you will be served freshly prepared home-cooked meals by our team of expert chefs. They ensure all our meals are healthy, nutritionally balanced and, most importantly, locally sourced wherever possible. Meals are served in our superb dining rooms, but you also have the option for food to be served in your room for a more private dining experience.
Bedrooms
We have 45 bedrooms for people living at Admiralty Care Home, with a range of room sizes, including some able to accommodate couples. We have ground-floor rooms with stunning views of the garden and first-floor rooms that are fully accessible by stairs or lift.
The majority of rooms have ensuite’s and others have ensuite wet rooms. The rooms without ensuite’s have accessible toilets, bathrooms or wet rooms within easy reach.
The bedrooms are a blank canvas for you to personalise with your own photos, pictures and furniture to help you feel at home. It also helps our care team understand what’s important to you.
Gardens
Admiralty Care Home boasts an extensive garden, with a beautifully maintained lawn that has vegetable patches and flower beds for you to utilise if you wish. Our garden is a great spot for activities and eating outside. If you enjoy watching the wildlife then our garden is a great place to spend a sunny afternoon watching the bird’s nest in our beautiful willow tree.
Within our extensive garden, we have a summer house and seating area on the patio for you to utilise if and when you desire. This is the perfect area to relax, read a book or have afternoon tea
