About Us

Bluebird Care Medway provides high-quality, person-centred care and support to people living in their own homes across Medway, including Gillingham, Rainham, Chatham, Rochester, Strood and the surrounding areas.

We support adults and older people with a wide range of care needs, from short 30-minute visits to longer care calls, respite care, night care and live-in care. Our care can include personal care, medication support, meal preparation, companionship, domestic support, mobility support and help with maintaining independence at home.

Our aim is to help people remain safe, comfortable and independent in the place they know best, their own home. Every care package is built around the individual, taking into account their routines, preferences, risks, needs and what matters most to them.

Families have told us they value our friendly and helpful team, our regular carers, and the relationships we build with customers and their loved ones. We are also proud that families have shared feedback about our ability to respond quickly when care needs change, including putting temporary care in place at short notice and adapting support when more visits are needed.

Before care starts, we complete a consultation so we can get to know the customer and their family, understand what support is needed, and build a package of care that feels right for them. Where appropriate, we also use OpenPASS so families can view visit updates, including tasks completed, food and fluid intake, wellbeing, mobility and general observations.

At Bluebird Care Medway, we believe care should be personal, respectful and reliable. Our office team and carers work together to make sure support is reviewed, responsive and centred around each person’s dignity, safety and independence.
