About Us

Welcome to Sandhall Park Care Home – A Place to Feel at Home

At Sandhall Park Care Home, we believe in creating a warm, welcoming environment where every resident feels valued, supported, and at ease. Whether you are looking for a place that caters to the needs of those living with dementia, physical disabilities, or simply a safe, friendly community to call home, our team is here to provide compassionate care and enriching experiences every day.

Sandhall Park Care Home is located in a quiet residential area near the town of Goole in East Yorkshire, providing a calm and supportive setting. Our home accommodates up to 50 residents, with 42 en-suite rooms and 8 comfortable single rooms. The home is arranged across two units, each with its own lounge and dining area, creating smaller, familiar spaces while still functioning as one cohesive and welcoming community. This layout is also suited for residents living with dementia, offering both comfort and accessibility.

We are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care tailored to each resident’s needs. Our dedicated staff work closely with residents and their families to develop personalised care plans, ensuring support is compassionate, empowering, and responsive. The home is equipped with specialised resources for residents with sensory impairments, including adapted utensils and drinking equipment, as well as brightly coloured utensils to enhance visual recognition and spatial awareness for those living with dementia.

Residents enjoy a rich variety of activities designed to promote wellbeing, independence, and social engagement. These include baking, seasonal arts and crafts, games afternoons, gentle exercise, and sing-along sessions. Our internal garden courtyards provide opportunities for gardening and outdoor enjoyment, while simple daily tasks such as setting tables or light dusting help residents maintain independence and a sense of purpose. Regular outings to local attractions, including garden centres, are also organised, with activities overseen by our dedicated coordinator.

We provide professional services to support residents’ health and wellbeing. Hairdressing is available weekly in our on-site salon, chiropody care every six weeks, and annual vision and dental checks are provided by our selected Optometrist service and community dental services. Residents’ spiritual and cultural needs are supported through monthly church services and visits from local music groups and entertainers, bringing joy, connection, and engagement into everyday life.

Our home-cooked meals are prepared on-site using fresh ingredients, with all dietary requirements and personal preferences accommodated. Advance notice allows us to provide meals for visitors, ensuring everyone can share in the dining experience.

At Sandhall Park Care Home, we pride ourselves on providing a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment where residents can enjoy fulfilling, purposeful lives. With quality care, enriching activities, and a warm, supportive community, every resident is treated with dignity, respect, and compassion—making our home a place where you truly belong.
