About Us
Sunningdale House, operated by CareTech Community Services Ltd, provides residential support for adults with autism, learning disabilities and associated mental health needs. The home is situated in Harrogate and offers accommodation for twelve individuals, with some bedrooms benefitting from en-suite facilities to promote privacy and independence. Staffing is provided twenty four hours a day, ensuring consistent, safe and effective support at all times.
The service is registered with the Care Quality Commission and is currently rated Good across all five key lines of enquiry: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well Led. We are currently accepting referrals for three vacancy.

The property comprises twelve bedrooms across two adjoining houses, with access to communal lounges, a large domestic style kitchen, a dining area and an additional small kitchen for developing daily living skills. The building is fully centrally heated and maintained to a high standard to ensure comfort and safety. The home is non smoking, with a designated outdoor area provided for individuals who smoke.

Support at Sunningdale House is delivered through structured routines and evidence based practice, ensuring predictability and reducing anxiety. Individuals are encouraged to participate in daily living tasks, community activities and personal routines that enhance independence and wellbeing.
A named Key Worker coordinates the person’s care, communication, reviews and progress. Residents are supported to maintain meaningful contact with family, friends and wider networks where appropriate.
