About Us

Visiting Angels North Yorkshire & West has been operating in the area since September 2020 and has gained an enviable reputation for its high standards of care and service in a relatively short period of time. We have recently been awarded a Good rating by inspection carried out by CQC and we are very proud of our 9/10 rating and our Top 20 Award for North Yorkshire - please take a look at our Google reviews.

Additionally we were delighted to receive an Award of Carer Centric Team of the Year (Staff retention of 90%), our Registered Manager was awarded Care Manager of the Year UK and one of our carers was highly commended for Caregiver of the Year at the Stray Ferret Business Awards 2025 – so a great deal to shout about and be proud of.

We are a carer centric employer, paying our staff well above minimum wage, paying them properly for travel time and mileage, plus lots of extra benefits which means we retain our staff which in turn means you would have continuous and consistent care. We agree and contract your time slots to ensure you are receiving the care at the time you want. All our staff have enhanced DBS checks and undergo rigorous training. A number of our staff are also highly experienced in the care of clients with Alzheimer's.
