About Us
Located in Blackhall Colliery, a former mining village on the North Sea coast of County Durham close to Peterlee and Horden, Field View can be found on Hesleden Road, between Castle Eden and Hartlepool. Nestled behind our sister home, Yohden Care Complex, and surrounded by fields and grassed areas, the home is a tranquil environment for residents who are looking for residential or dementia residential care.
The home is a single storey, purpose-built building, which has a secure, central courtyard with outdoor seating and raised flower beds for the residents to enjoy. The more green fingered can use our accessible greenhouse which is ideal for growing fruit and vegetables.
Inside the home, you will find a coffee shop where hot drinks are available, a modern lounge, comfortable dining room, pub room, activities room and hair salon where residents can come and enjoy being pampered. All bedrooms are en-suite.
