Overview
Herne Place Care Home is a home in the area of Herne Bay located within the Redrow estate, which can accommodate just 66 residents. Care can be provided for those with dementia. Herne Place Care Home also offers the following short stay services; respite care and rehabilitation, as well as permanent stay. Each resident receives the personalised care that reflects their needs, interests, which enables them to live each day the way they wish to.
Friends and relatives are welcome to visit any time and chat to residents in our café, where we provide free teas, coffees & fresh cake.
The bedrooms at Herne Place are beautifully furnished and kept up to a high quality standard by our housekeeping team on a daily basis, and each room has its own en-suite facilities which includes a walk in wet room. Residents are more than welcome to bring their own personal items to make their room feel more homely.
Our Life enrichment team ensures that there are a wide range of activities to enjoy, as well as different live singers and outings to the local area. Herne Place Care Home also has it's very own hair salon within the home where our hairdresser is here twice a week so our residents can treat themselves things such as wash and blow dry, perms or colour. Our hairdresser is happy to do anything she can to make our residents happy.
Our kitchen team ensure that all meals are nutritionally balanced, freshly prepared, and cooked within our care home. The catering team are always on hand to meet any dietary requirements or requests that our residents may require. Our catering team are also happy to prepare meals for family and friends if they wish to dine with their loved ones in our private dining for any occasion.
