About Us
Highbury Rise is a 22 bedroom residential home in a beautiful Victorian house situated in Hitchin just a 5 minute walk from the town centre, which can accommodate up to 23 people. Care provided is person centred and the home specialise in providing care for older people, especially those with dementia and mental health needs. Highbury Rise offers long stay services, short stay services; respite care and hospital discharge placements.
The location of the home in Hitchin is idyllic and the market town name is associated with the small river that runs through it. The river is known as the river Hiz on maps. Hitchin is significant for music all year round with many venues hosting regular events. Residents also enjoy visits to the parks, market, cafes, bistros and other places of interests in addition to the variety of activities provided in the home itself.
The home is close to the A1 (Stevenage) and a short walk from the mainline train station. There is free parking on the drive and additional overflow parking on the roads between 11am and 4pm.
The home has a homely feel and the local staff team provide empathy, care and support in their endeavours to deliver the highest quality of care.
