About Us
Springfield Care Home is a purpose-built home in the area of Houghton Le Spring, which can accommodate 50 residents - it has a 'Good' rating from the CQC. Care can be provided for those with dementia and residential. Springfield Care Home also offers the following short stay services; respite care, daycare and permanent placements, (Privately funded and Local authority funded).

There is a lift, ground floor rooms and wheelchair access in addition to Wi-Fi throughout the home, a post service and a good energy efficiency rating.
All rooms at Springfield Care Home have en-suites and residents can feel even more at home here if they want to use their own furniture. Pets are welcome to visit throughout the home and in rooms.

Springfield was built in 1995 for 34 residents and later an extension was added with an extra 16 bedrooms.
The home is nestled in a quiet location that has a full view of the Philadelphia Cricket club, where residents can sit on our decking area and watch the cricket matches with refreshments, families can also join their relatives. We have introduced a family social lounge where they can watch TV with their relatives.
