About Us
Adel Grange is a distinguished manor house that offers residential dementia care for a maximum of 30 residents. Our establishment aims to cater to older individuals who are living with dementia, providing them with a secure and nurturing environment where they can experience a sense of freedom and avail themselves of a variety of care services tailored to their specific requirements. At Adel Grange, we uphold a principle of relationship-centered care, which entails equipping our staff with advanced communication, observation, and dementia management competencies to ensure the well-being of our residents.
We use an electronic care planning system to keep an accurate record of their care and free up staff to spend time caring for the residents. We have our own dementia friendly garden area with anti-slip decking and planting beds for the residents to use. We have close links with the local GP surgery, including weekly doctors rounds, visiting professionals such as the local District Nurse Team, Dietician, Occupational Therapist, and Speech and Language therapist.
