Practical tasks include:
• Making or changing beds.
• Emptying commodes.
• Shopping for service users.
• Assistance with a service user’s laundry and can include ironing.
• Preparing a service user’s meals.
• Companionship.
• Vacuum cleaning.
• Light domestic tasks - washing dishes, dusting, cleaning of toilets and bathrooms etc.
• Personal care – this includes assistance with:
o Washing.
o Shaving (not wet shaving).
o Oral care.
o Dressing.
o Toileting, continence care.
o Feeding, and assistance with medication.
o Assistance with getting up or going to bed.
o Supporting and maintaining independence skills, etc.

Our team is fully DBS checked to ensure safe and responsible recruitment. Infection Prevention and Control training is completed and kept up to date across the workforce.
