Overview

Summerfield Court is a rehabilitation home for individuals with brain injuries, located in Leeds, West Yorkshire. We offer care and support for up to 17 people, helping them develop their cognitive and daily living skills following a brain injury. We are proud to have achieved Headway Approved Provider status.

We take a person-centred approach, encouraging individuals to create personalised activity programmes based on their needs and interests. A key part of our support is helping people make the most of local resources, fostering confidence and independence through community-based activities.

In addition to our highly trained staff, we collaborate with external therapy professionals, such as those specialising in behavioural therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and physiotherapy, to design and review tailored therapy programmes.

Our accommodation includes 10 spacious en-suite bedrooms and seven self-contained apartments, each with a private lounge and cooking facilities. The people we support can progress from residential rooms to transitional living apartments, which help build independence before moving on to independent living in the local community. Individuals are encouraged to personalise their rooms to reflect their own style.

We offer various shared communal spaces, including a lounge, a spacious garden, an activity room, and a gym area, allowing everyone to enjoy privacy, socialise, or participate in therapy sessions as they choose. Our home also features a therapy kitchen and a main kitchen, where individuals can work on menu planning and food preparation skills with support from our team.

Summerfield Court is fully wheelchair accessible, making it suitable for those with additional mobility needs.
