About Us

Compton Lodge is an 30-room Edwardian House with scenic surroundings, lovingly converted in a modern care environment that also supports independent living.

The focus is on an ‘Out Not In’ approach that looks holistically at both mind and body acknowledging that engagement with society and nature is key to experiencing life. It uses everyday events to stimulate and maintain cognitive function and uses retained conditioned behaviour as a tool to encourage engagement and reduce anxiety.

A personalised service conducted in a friendly and professional manner, Compton Lodge has regular residents' meetings in order to bring up any concerns, while carers also respect the perspective of visiting loved ones.

Assisted bathrooms help residents with mobility issues, while the home has CCTV for added security, a garden lounge and its own hairdressing/chiropody rooms.

Compton Lodge has a 'Good' rating from the CQC.
