About Us

Domiciliary Care

Immediate Medical Solutions (IMS) provides domiciliary care to people living in their own homes and supported accommodation who require support with day-to-day life. For example household tasks, personal care, preparing and cooking meals or any other activity that allows them to maintain their independence and quality of life. We are CQC registered company, inspected as "Good".

IMS provides range of services which includes hourly care, care at home and visiting care. Our care workers visit service users home at varying times during the day to provide care and support. We arrange for a care worker to visit once twice, three or more times a day from 15 minutes to an hour depending on the care and support needs and care plan.


Our full range of services includes:

PERSONAL CARE - Our care workers will provide several tasks to help you maintain your personal hygiene and appearance, including washing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
LIVE-IN CARE - 24-hour care in your own home. Live-in care is an increasingly popular and cost effect alternative to residential care. You are cared for and supported in the comfort of your own home so greater independence and health can be achieved without leaving your possessions and existing support network behind.


RESPITE CARE - For family members or friends who are looking after their loved ones and are seeking a break or some assistance with providing care.


MOBILITY SUPPORT - The visiting care workers will ensure you regularly mobilise at certain times during the day if mobility is an issue and prevents safe movement around the home.


COMPANIONSHIP - Our care workers will provide you with companionship when they visit you in your home.


HOSPITAL DISCHARGE CARE - If you require support after hospital treatment or an operation - for example following a hip replacement, care workers can provide care in your own home after discharge from the hospital.


MEDICATIONS ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT - Our care workers will support you with administering medications to ensure you keep on top of your routine.


MEAL PLANNING AND COOKING - Our care workers will prepare meals and where time allows cook for you, to ensure you get your meals at regular times during the day.


DOMESTIC AND HOUSEHOLD SUPPORT - Our care workers will help with domestic tasks to ensure you keep on top of your cleaning regime.


REABLEMENT CARE - Our care workers will help and support your loved ones after their illness, injury or a hospital stay to regain skills and confidence so they can live as independently as possible.

About The Team

All staff employed by our service hold valid DBS clearance. Our workforce maintains up-to-date Infection Prevention and Control training in accordance with best practice. Services are delivered by staff who can communicate effectively in several languages including Ga-Adangbe, Bengali, and Yoruba. Further details about the team are available upon request.
