About Us
Hestia Housing & Support – Lynton Terrace Scheme Overview
Lynton Terrace provides accommodation, meals, and 24-hour personal care for adults with mental health support needs. While nursing care is not provided on-site, staff work closely with local health services to ensure residents’ healthcare needs are met. Residents requiring temporary nursing support are assisted through community health services, while those needing long-term nursing care are supported to access appropriate registered nursing care settings. Where suitable, residents are also supported to move into more independent accommodation.
Our person-centred approach focuses on recovery, independence, and choice. Staff work collaboratively with residents to develop, implement, and review individual care plans, promoting community involvement, social engagement, and independent living skills such as personal care, cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and household management. Care plans are agreed and signed by both residents and key workers, using the Mental Health Recovery Star framework to emphasise strengths, goals, and personal achievement.
Through regular key work sessions and resident forums, we empower residents to exercise their rights, make informed choices, and participate actively in decisions about their lives. Staff are committed to treating all residents with dignity, respect, privacy, and compassion.
