Yad Voezer 2

Yad Voezer 2 is a small, specialist residential care home in Hackney providing accommodation with personal care for up to eight adults with learning disabilities and/or autistic spectrum conditions, as well as individuals with mental health needs, physical disabilities, and sensory impairments.

The home is designed to deliver person-centred support in a safe, structured and homely environment, enabling residents to live with dignity, choice and independence. It operates as a women-only service, with a dedicated staff team who know each resident well and provide tailored care based on individual needs, preferences, and communication styles.

Residents are supported with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, medication, nutrition, and emotional wellbeing. Care plans are detailed and personalised, and staff work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure each individual’s physical and mental health needs are met. The service promotes independence by encouraging residents to make choices, develop life skills, and take an active role in their daily routines.

The home offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with communal living spaces that support social interaction and a comfortable, homely feel. Facilities include shared areas for activities and relaxation, as well as outdoor space such as a garden or patio where residents can spend time in a calm environment.

Residents are supported to engage in meaningful activities both within the home and in the community, helping to build confidence, reduce isolation, and enhance overall wellbeing. As part of the wider Yad Voezer provision, residents also benefit from access to structured daytime opportunities through the organisation’s day centre, where they can take part in creative, social and skill-based activities.
