About Us

Located within picturesque Heathlands Village in Prestwich, Moorview House offers 31 unfurnished flats and apartments for rent by people aged 55 and over. Our tenants live in their own apartment and choose the level of care and support they need to help them live independently. Domiciliary care can be arranged at 15-minute intervals.

Tenants have access to the Heathlands Village facilities, which include a restaurant, cafe, shop, laundry and a hair salon. Moorview House has its own social activity programme, such as meals out, cinema trips, theatre trips and weekly coffee afternoons, and tenants can also take part in the Village’s residents’ activity schedule.

The Moorview team are available every day until 8pm. As well as domiciliary care, the team provide general support, such as helping make appointments, pay bills, look after your home, and keep in touch with your family and friends. For added peace of mind, Moorview has an emergency call system.

Financial help towards your rent and support
Tenants may be able to have their rent covered in full or in part by Housing Benefit. In addition, you may be able to get funding for personal care and general support from your Local Council.
