About Us
Chataway Nursing Home is a residential and nursing home in the Crumpsall area of Manchester, which can accommodate 25 residents. Care can be provided for those with mental health needs.
At Chataway Nursing Home we aim to provide a comfortable home environment where we can promote the independence of our residents and assist in recapturing the skills of daily living, making safety a priority.
Upon admission to the home our team of Nurses will work with each resident to produce an individual plan of care based on their individual needs and wishes. We will involve outside agencies and family members to assist with this where appropriate.
A review will be held at the end of the 6-week trial period to ensure that the placement is appropriate and agreeable to both parties and to ensure we are meeting the individual's needs. The plan of care will then be reviewed on a regular basis to ensure it remains relevant.
We also run ‘Resident of the day’ where once a month it will be all about that individual which is a great opportunity to review care, find out current likes/dislikes, engage in 121 activities and ensure we are meeting all the needs of that resident.
