About Us

Elmhurst Short Stay is part of our older people's service and offers respite for reasons such as:
• regular breaks for carers/families.
• temporary stay due to house renovations, awaiting equipment, or for homecare services to
start.
• following urgent and/or unforeseen emergency situations which require people to vacate their
own homes immediately or to keep them safe.
• holiday for your own benefit.

Elmhurst Short Stay offers people private rooms (we have one twin room and 26 single rooms) with their own en suite. There is easy access to every area of Elmhurst and the garden areas, as the entire building is all on one level.
Elmhurst has a 'Good' rating from the CQC.
